What is an alias email address, and why do we recommend one for your NVivo License Administrator?

An alias email address is essentially a forwarding address that can be created by you/r IT department and set up to forward any email addressed to it on to a designated inbox.
 
For example:  

Your IT department might issue you with the Alias email address “nvivoadmin@example.org”, which is set up to forward all email it receives to “john@example.org”.  

When the time comes for John to pass on the NVivo License Administrator responsibility to, for example, Jane, your IT department can reset the email address “nvivoadmin@example.org” to forward all emails it receives to “jane@example.org”.  
 
In this way the same email address can remain in use for the myLumivero Portal and Account for your NVivo License Administrator, whomever that person might be this week, next month or next year.
